Amara Sanctuary Resort Sentosa | Hotel Guide

A cool piece of historical trivia for you: Did you know that the last two air raid shelters on Sentosa – originally built for soldiers who lived there during World War II – can be found on the grounds of Amara Sanctuary Resort Sentosa?

Today, the infrastructure has been repurposed as a five-star resort by architect Miyake Masaki. While preserving most of the building’s heritage, he also added contemporary elements like a spa, state-of-the-art gym and luxurious outdoor pools. It’s cat-friendly, too!
