Proudly organised by ONE°15 Marina, the annual Blue Water EduFest returns for its third year. This esteemed event will be held from 7 to 9 November 2024 at ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove in Singapore.

This third edition features key elements curated to foster intellectual exchange, recognise eco-champions, and spearhead community action surrounding marine conservation.

This two-day summit, co-organised with Ocean Geographic, features a refreshed theme discussing critical issues such as the High Seas Treaty, Blue Carbon, and Deep-Sea Mining.

  • Keynote Speaker: Dr. Sylvia Earle, globally recognised oceanographer and Time Magazine’s First Hero for the Planet, will headline the summit highlighting the urgency of ocean conservation
  • Expert Panels: Discussions touching on cutting-edge innovations like coral IVF and strategies to tackle climate change via marine ecosystems
  • Interview opportunities with speakers Michael Aw, Richard Bailey, Prof.Peter Harrison, and Dr. Mickey Rogers can be arranged upon requests.

This awards dinner showcases finalists and their influential projects across Southeast Asia, in recognition of their exceptional contributions to ocean conservation. The total prize money is S$50,000. The gala dinner will deliver a sustainable dining experience, finalist networking opportunities, and live entertainment.

  • Finalists’ Presentations: Young and budding eco-leaders will pitch their innovative projects to a panel of judges, and winners will be announced during the gala dinner.
  • Interview opportunities with finalists Leon Boey Tze-Shen (Livingseas Foundation); Ng Lee Kiang (Young Nautilus), and Sue Ye (Marine Stewards Singapore) can be arranged.

A joint community initiative to foster efforts advocating marine environment preservation through guided intertidal tours, and mangrove island clean-ups alongside guest of honour, Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat at East Coast Park.

DPM Heng will also touch on sustainability initiatives in the East Coast GRC, and potential infrastructure projects aimed at mitigating climate change.
