Christmas 2018: 50 Photos from Orchard Road’s First Disney-themed Light-up

Ah, Christmas. Who doesn’t look forward to the traditions that come with it?

From the awkward secret Santa proceedings at work, to the festive feasts with the people we care about most and the constant stream of Christmas music (admit it, you love it; at least until you’ve heard “All I Want for Christmas Is You” for the 42nd time in a week).

And, of course, there’s the Orchard Road Christmas light-up. This year’s Disney-themed light-up – the first branded light-up in the 35-year history of the event – might have raised concerns about whether the true meaning and value of Christmas was still being depicted.

But you only had to walk amongst the crowds to see that they represented everything we love about the festive season. Merry Christmas to one and all! The light-up continues until New Year’s Day
