In conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM) 2024, a sea of pink is again expected to engulf Singapore, as Breast Cancer Foundation (BCF) announced the 16th anniversary of their signature Pink Light Up.

The yearly tradition sees iconic buildings in the city and heartlands take on a synchronised pink illumination on their facades in solidarity and support for breast cancer awareness. This includes a slew of landmarks, both iconic and cultural, as they glow up in pink for October:

  • Marina Bay Sands

  • Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre
  • JEN Singapore Orchardgateway by Shangri-La
  • Tan Tock Seng Hospital
  • Singapore General Hospital
  • Temasek Polytechnic
  • Capitol Building
  • voco Orchard Singapore, an IHG Hotel
  • Clemenceau Bridge
  • Anderson Bridge
  • Cavenagh Bridge

Visitors are encouraged to spend time at these spots and take photos to share on social media, in tandem with a social media contest that will be launched on BCF’s social media platforms, to showcase their support for breast cancer survivors and their hardships.
