For those who’ve been swept up in nostalgia after watching Emerald Hill – The Little Nyonya Story and are missing the charm of the past — here’s a chance to experience a slice of that simpler time in real life.

From 31 May to 1 June 2025, Project Pasar Malam by Twilight invites Singaporeans to relive the magic of old-school pasar malams — but this time, it’s indoors at Suntec (so you can enjoy the buzz, minus the heat or rain).

Think: Ramly burgers, otah-otah, kacang putih, muah chee, retro pasar malam games, $1 snacks, and hands-on crafts for kids. With over 60 halal-certified food vendors and 40 lifestyle booths, it’s a delicious, sensory throwback for the whole family.

Burock – Classic Malaysian-style Ramly burger
Golden Bao – Spicy curry-dipped beef flatbread
Haig Road Putu Piring – Heritage family dessert
Ikan1986 – Traditional otah-otah wrapped in banana leaves
Chendol Kain Pelikat – Old-school icy favourite
Santan by Auntie Bedah – Nasi Lemak Bungkus (classic-style) and Nyonya kueh

Families can also enjoy a dedicated carnival zone with retro pasar malam games, and a hands-on craft area by Crafty Summers and Fun Studio — making this a wholesome weekend outing for foodies, families, and everyone in between.

  • Dates: 31 May – 1 June 2025
  • Time: 12pm – 10pm
  • Venue: Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre, Halls 403 & 404, 1 Raffles Boulevard, Singapore 039593
