Rosewood Miyakojima to Open in Japan with Bookings Now Open for 1 March 2025

On a remote island paradise in Okinawa, Rosewood Miyakojima will mark Rosewood Hotels & Resorts’ first Japanese property, offering exceptional luxury amidst untouched nature.

Opening on 1 March 2025, the resort has begun accepting reservations, inviting travelers to explore an unseen side of Japan while pioneering a new era of ultra-luxury hospitality on Miyakojima.

Nestled amidst sugarcane fields in the north of the island and overlooking Oura Bay with direct access to a pristine beach, the resort has 55 guest accommodations, each with breathtaking views of Miyakojima’s famous pristine waters.

Embodied by Rosewood’s A Sense of Place® philosophy, the architecture of the resort draws from the history, landscape and culture of the Ryukyu Islands, blending indigenous Okinawan materials such as Ryukyu limestone with the Japanese spirit of wabi-sabi.

In celebration of the grand opening of Rosewood Miyakojima, the resort is offering a special introductory package for stays from 1 March to 31 August 2025.

The offer includes daily breakfast for two adults, ¥20,000 credit for villa bookings or ¥50,000 for house bookings, access to the fitness center and early check in and late check out subject to availability.
