Watch Exchange, a Singapore-based luxury watch boutique specialising in authentic pre-owned timepieces, launched a charity initiative called Give Time, Share Hope on 29 September, 2025.

This campaign aims to raise S$100,000 in support of Geylang East Home for the Aged (GEHA)’s renovation of its sheltered home and to improve living conditions for its 31 seniors.

Since 1978, GEHA has provided more than shelter, it has been a trusted home where seniors aged 60 and above find care and companionship. Many residents have little to no family or financial support and rely entirely on GEHA’s care.

While the Home receives partial government funding, it must continue to raise additional resources to sustain and improve its facilities. Despite serving generations with dedication, the sheltered home has not undergone major renovations for nearly 10 years, leaving seniors in basic living conditions with limited comfort and accessibility.

WHAT: Through Give Time, Share Hope, Watch Exchange is inviting the public to donate their pre-loved luxury watches.

Every donated watch with an estimated pre-restoration market value of at least S$2,000 will be carefully restored by Watchlab, Watch Exchange’s in-house service unit, before being made available for sale. GEHA will directly receive all proceeds to fund the following initiatives:

  • A complete redesign of its living areas to create a warm, welcoming environment that supports seniors’ physical and emotional well-being
  • Safer, upgraded shared living spaces
  • Electric adjustable beds
  • Bathrooms with safety features
  • Air-conditioning for residents

WHENThe campaign launches on 29 September 2025 and will run for six months, until 31 March 2026. The first disbursement to GEHA is planned for January 2026, focusing on essential safety upgrades and accessibility improvements.

HOW: Members of the public can support in two ways:

  • Donating watches: Contributions starting from 1st October 2025 can be made at Watch Exchange’s boutique at 14 Scotts Rd, #03-132 Far East Plaza, Singapore 228213, or via its direct website
  • Purchasing refurbished watches: Restored by Watchlab, Watch Exchange’s in-house technical hub, and available for viewing online before purchase in-store.
