What is the Chingay Parade about?
Chingay is a colourful street parade that’s held annually as part of the Chinese New Year celebrations. This cultural tradition is practised in Singapore and certain cities in Malaysia.
The theme for this year’s parade is WISH which celebrates the collective aspirations of the nation in a dazzling display that will capture your imagination.

Chingay 2026 highlights
Straying from tradition, Chingay will debut its very first circular parade route and a transformable multi-tier stage, featuring special effects that will illuminate the night.
