Description
The Brightening Lives light projection show, a celebration of inclusiveness and community via exceptional artworks, is set to return for another edition at the Marina Bay Singapore Countdown (MBSC).
This year’s light projections will showcase a series of eight artworks — three newly commissioned pieces and five adapted artworks — created by artists with disabilities from ART:DIS.
ART:DIS is a local non-profit organisation that seeks to provide learning and livelihood opportunities for persons with disabilities through art, marking their second year collaborating with the MBSC.
These artworks will illuminate the façade of The Fullerton Hotel Singapore from 26 to 31 December 2025, shining a spotlight on the power of self-expression and resilience.
This year’s artworks embody the idea that strength comes in many forms and thriving is manifested differently for everyone — with every version being valid, powerful, and worthy of celebration.
The theme Thriving Beyond Limits is not defined by traditional ideas of ability, but by the radical act of self-expression, adaptation, and community support.
The artists behind the three newly commissioned pieces:
- Kenji Teo, 31

A visual artist with a hearing impairment, Kenji specialises in 2D and 3D anime-style art. Known for his eye for detail and drive to innovate, Kenji blends traditional and digital techniques to create dynamic pieces, like his latest work, My Island Home.
- Joy Koh, 23

Joy Koh is an artist with Down syndrome. To her, art is more than just a pastime – it’s a powerful way to express her emotions and connect with the world around her, as seen in her artwork Threads that Knit.
- Koh Jun Kai, 21

Koh Jun Kai, aka JK, is a young artist on the autism spectrum, working across both Digital and Fine Arts. His artwork, Future Takes Flight, celebrates a Singapore that is full of life, innovation, and care for the future.
