Travel through three generations of Southeast Asian horror at Oldham Theatre, where supernatural folklore takes centre stage during Singapore Night Festival 2026.

Horror Nights at Oldham Theatre brings three films from Malaysia’s cinematic history to the National Archives of Singapore on 22, 23 and 29 August 2026.

Presented by the Asian Film Archive in collaboration with the National Library Board and HeritageSG, the programme traces how regional filmmakers have interpreted supernatural folklore from the 1950s to the present day.

Audiences can encounter the nocturnal menace of an oily man, a teenager embracing her monstrous transformation and a family terrorised by a mysterious visitor. Tickets cost S$10 per screening, with advance booking required.
