5 September–1 November 2026: Explore Into the Glowcean at Singapore Oceanarium, with neon marine art, skeleton divers and luminous performances.

Into the Glowcean is transforming Singapore Oceanarium into a luminous underwater world filled with glowing marine sculptures, neon-inspired activities and family-friendly Halloween surprises.

Running until 1 November 2026, the seasonal experience combines marine life with light, colour, art and live entertainment across different parts of the oceanarium.

Visitors can encounter traditional glass-neon artwork, watch skeleton-costumed divers inside the Open Ocean habitat and return on selected October dates for illuminated violin and light-painting performances.

Explore a Glowing Marine World

The centrepiece of the experience is Oceanic Glow, a collection of handcrafted neon marine-life sculptures by Megan Foo, Singapore’s only traditional glass-neon artist.

The installations can be found across Spirit of Exploration, After Shark Seas, After Coral Gardens, Artificial Habitats and Whale Fall between 10am and 8pm.

Inspired by the ways marine animals communicate through light, the exhibition uses glowing colours and forms to explore curiosity, camouflage, warning and other signals found beneath the ocean’s surface.

Watch Skeleton Divers Beneath the Waves

The Halloween atmosphere continues inside the Open Ocean habitat, where skeleton-costumed divers swim among marine animals during a special feeding presentation.

The Skeleton Dive Feed takes place at 4pm daily, except on Mondays and Fridays.

Families can also collect sweet treats at Shark Seas throughout the event. Treats are distributed at 2.30pm on weekdays and at 11.30am and 3.30pm on weekends and school holidays, while stocks last.

Create Your Own Light-Painting Photograph

From 26 September to 1 November, visitors can experiment with light and movement during the Be a Light Painter experience at Ocean Dome.

The activity runs from 12pm to 6pm and includes an instant photograph to take home. Participation is subject to availability and limited to one printout per group.

Light Painting Live features Lawrence Koh creating marine-inspired images through light and motion, while Symphony in the Sea pairs an LED violin performance by Jocelyn Ng with dance and ocean views.

Our Take

Into the Glowcean gives families a gentler alternative to Singapore’s scarier Halloween events while still creating a distinct seasonal atmosphere.

The combination of real marine habitats, handcrafted neon art and skeleton dive feeds makes this more substantial than a collection of Halloween decorations.
