Description

Uncover the myths, legends and lesser-known stories woven into Singapore’s past at the National Library Board’s All Things Singapore 2026.

Held in conjunction with Singapore Night Festival 2026, the festival brings Singapore’s stories to life through immersive art installations, interactive experiences, live performances and hands-on activities from 21 August to 5 September.

Taking place across the National Library Building and National Archives of Singapore, this year’s programme is centred around the theme of Myths and Legends.

Visitors can encounter local folklore alongside historical records from the National Archives, solve puzzles inspired by the legend of the garfish and discover the tragic tale behind Sisters’ Islands through sensory theatre and shadow play.

All Things Singapore 2026 Highlights

Visitors can also design fantastical maps inspired by archival collections, remix familiar myths with unexpected endings, catch live performances and attend film screenings exploring folklore from Singapore and the region.
