Follow LED lions, an illuminated dragon and Ranchu goldfish through Jurong Spring during a lively Mid-Autumn lantern procession.
Jurong Spring–Gek Poh Mid-Autumn Festival 2026 will bring four hours of performances, games and festive activities to Jurong Spring Community Club on Saturday, 26 September.
The evening’s centrepiece is a grand lantern procession around Jurong Spring accompanied by illuminated lions, an LED dragon and an unusual Ranchu goldfish display.
Families can also watch Bian Lian, magic and Chinese dizi performances, support neighbourhood talent, explore game booths and participate in audience activities before the lucky-draw finale.

Follow the Grand LED Lantern Procession
The lantern procession will travel around Jurong Spring with several striking illuminated companions leading the community celebration.
LED lions and an LED dragon will bring light, colour and movement to the parade, creating one of the evening’s major visual spectacles.
An exclusive Ranchu goldfish display adds an unexpected element to the procession and helps distinguish this neighbourhood celebration from Singapore’s other Mid-Autumn events.
Watch Bian Lian, Magic and Chinese Dizi Performances
A Bian Lian performance will introduce audiences to the dramatic Chinese art of rapid face-changing.
The cultural showcase will be accompanied by a magic show and music performed on the Chinese dizi, a traditional transverse bamboo flute.
Together, the three performances give families a mixture of theatrical spectacle, cultural tradition and live music to enjoy before joining the lantern procession.
Support Neighbourhood Talent and Join the Games
Curated performances and a talent show will give local participants an opportunity to share their abilities with the wider Jurong Spring and Gek Poh community.
Emcee-led audience games will invite visitors to participate instead of simply watching the stage programme from the sidelines.
Families can also visit the game booths and take part in the evening’s activities before the festival concludes with its lucky draw and finale. The official listing additionally mentions a McDonald’s voucher as part of the programme.
Receive a Lantern, Mooncake and Festive Treats
Every ticket holder is stated to receive a complimentary goodie bag containing festive items and refreshments.
The goodie bag includes a mooncake, traditional lantern, biscuit piring, popcorn and a drink. As a lantern is provided, participants do not necessarily need to bring one from home.
Goodie-bag contents and collection arrangements remain subject to the organiser’s terms and availability.
Our Take
Jurong Spring–Gek Poh Mid-Autumn Festival 2026 has one of the most distinctive lantern processions among this year’s neighbourhood celebrations.
The combination of LED lions, an illuminated dragon and Ranchu goldfish gives the parade a strong visual identity, while Bian Lian, magic and dizi performances provide genuine variety.
At $2 per ticket—including a lantern, mooncake and several refreshments—the four-hour programme also represents particularly accessible value for families.
