Celebrate Singapore’s 61st birthday through art, performances and community festivities as PAssionArts Festival 2026 arrives in neighbourhoods across the island over the National Day weekend.
Presented under the theme Our Neighbourhood Gems, this year’s festival celebrates the landmarks, stories, people and shared memories that give each neighbourhood its identity. Residents have worked alongside artists to create installations inspired by their communities, transforming familiar heartland spaces into showcases of local creativity.
PAssionArts Festival 2026 will unfold across 79 festival villages from August to September. Over the National Day weekend alone, nine neighbourhood events will take place—eight on 8 August and one on 9 August—featuring art workshops, live performances, interactive installations, carnival activities and National Day observance ceremonies.
Highlights include a towering birthday-cake installation decorated with miniature Paya Lebar-Kovan landmarks, cascading flowers made from recycled plastic bottles at Zhenghua, and a large community artwork celebrating Punggol Coast’s bridges and waterways.

Canberra PAssionArts Festival
Celebrate Singapore’s 61st birthday and Canberra’s 25th anniversary with a Mini National Day Parade featuring preschoolers, arts and crafts, carnival games, a bouncy castle and food booths. Goodie bags will be distributed while stocks last.

Yio Chu Kang PAssionArts Festival
Try batik and block printing, poetry, digital art and traditional paper cutting before enjoying multicultural performances by a guzheng ensemble, Malay cultural dancers, multilingual singers and youth dance groups.

Keat Hong National Day Observance Ceremony 2026 – Building Our Keat Hong Together
Celebrate Singapore’s 61st birthday at Keat Hong’s National Day Observance Ceremony, themed “Building Our Keat Hong Together”. The morning features a Community Fiesta Carnival, heARTS performances and a large-scale community art installation, alongside games and snacks. Participants can also enter a lucky draw featuring prizes such as an iPad, smartwatch and headset.

Tampines Central PAssionArts Festival
Our Tampines Hub hosts three programmes throughout the day. Fit @ Home begins with Salsation, Bollybeatz and Zumba, followed by the Fun @ Home children’s carnival and Fiesta @ Home, featuring upcycling and art booths, community performances and a National Day singalong with Clement Chow.

Paya Lebar-Kovan National Day Festival
Held alongside the Paya Lebar National Day Carnival, this neighbourhood celebration features a drone show, art booths, drawing and colouring competitions, stage performances, carnival rides, food stalls and a National Day Observance Ceremony and parade.
Visitors can also see a large four-tier birthday-cake installation decorated with miniature clay replicas of familiar landmarks, including Paya Lebar-Kovan Community Club, Tua Jia Kar Well, Paya Lebar Air Base and the neighbourhood’s markets.

Pioneer PAssionArts Festival
The celebration begins with a National Day Observance Ceremony, followed by live performances, arts and crafts, interactive esports challenges and floor-curling try-outs. Visitors can also enjoy community activities, traditional treats and goodie bags while stocks last.

Tampines North PAssionArts Festival
Dress in red or white and join an evening of community festivities featuring PAssionArts art booths, live performances, carnival games, snacks and a lucky draw.

Zhenghua PAssionArts Festival
Explore hands-on activities including shaker and badge making, scratch-art magnets, DIY clay art and traditional gasing. The programme also includes community performances, a bouncy castle and Every Drop, Every Bloom, a cascading installation of colourful flowers handcrafted largely from recycled plastic bottles.

Punggol Coast PAssionArts Festival
Mark National Day with community art displays, creative activities and a large-scale installation made from upcycled plastic bottles. Inspired by Punggol Coast’s bridges and waterways, the artwork was co-created by residents during pre-festival workshops.
