From AI and inclusive art to multicultural performances and hands-on activities, West Coast PAssionArts Festival 2026 invites families to create, connect and celebrate their neighbourhood together.

Creativity takes over West Coast Community Centre when West Coast PAssionArts Festival 2026 returns on 29 August. Families and residents can look forward to a lively morning of multicultural performances, inclusive artworks and hands-on arts experiences exploring technology, mental well-being and community spirit.

Held under this year’s PAssionArts Festival theme, Our Neighbourhood Gems, the event invites residents of all ages to rediscover the people, stories and creative talents that make West Coast special.

Explore art, AI and mental well-being

Visitors can discover how art takes on new forms through interactive experiences spanning AI, digital art and community-created works. Some activities will also explore themes such as mindfulness and mental well-being, offering a creative counterpoint to today’s fast-paced digital world.

The programme is complemented by energetic multicultural stage performances, bringing music, movement and neighbourhood talent into the spotlight.

Discover inclusive artworks and stories of second chances

The festival will feature meaningful works by artists from different backgrounds and abilities. Visitors can view Yellow Ribbon artworks created by inmate artists and learn about the personal stories behind them.

New works of art by youths with diverse abilities will also be unveiled during the event, celebrating inclusion while giving emerging talents a platform to share their creativity with the wider community.

Contribute to the community mosaic mural

Rather than simply admiring the artworks, residents can become part of the creative process by contributing to the West Coast Community Mosaic Wall Mural.

Each contribution will form part of a larger collaborative artwork representing the neighbourhood’s shared experiences, ideas and sense of belonging.

Enjoy performances, treats and prizes

Beyond the arts activities, visitors can enjoy tasty treats such as acai and a chocolate fountain while soaking up the celebratory atmosphere.

Participants can also stand a chance to win prizes in the lucky draw. A limited-edition LED Keycap Clicker Fidget Keychain will be available as a welcome gift while stocks last.
