From mosaic-lamp making and colourful competitions to neighbourhood performances, Buona Vista PAssionArts Festival 2026 celebrates the creative talents that make its community special.

Neighbourhood talents take centre stage at Buona Vista PAssionArts Festival 2026, an evening of hands-on art, colourful competitions and live performances taking place on 29 August.

Held under the theme Our Neighbourhood Gems, the festival invites residents to express their creativity while celebrating the people and artistic talents that make Buona Vista special.

Create your own mosaic lamp

Residents can get creative alongside their neighbours through a hands-on DIY mosaic-lamp activity.

Participants can arrange colourful mosaic pieces to create a decorative lamp of their own, combining artistic expression with a practical keepsake to bring home.

See neighbourhood creativity on display

The festival will showcase entries from its Paper Bag Decorating Competition, with selected artworks appearing in a special show-and-tell segment.

While participation in the competition was reserved for residents who registered earlier, festival visitors can still see how familiar everyday materials have been transformed through imagination and personal expression.

Watch colourful kolam art take shape

The Kolam Art Competition will bring vibrant colours and intricate patterns to Buona Vista Community Centre as participants showcase their artistic flair.

The competition takes place from 4pm to 5pm, followed by judging and the announcement of its winners later that evening.

Celebrate local talent through live performances

The celebrations culminate with live performances at the Buona Vista Multi-Purpose Hall from 6pm to 8pm.

Spotlighting neighbourhood talent through music, movement and the arts, the performances offer families and residents an opportunity to come together and celebrate their community.
