From hands-on crafts and live performances to a collaborative installation, Jalan Kayu PAssionArts Festival 2026 invites families to leave their creative mark on the neighbourhood.

Creativity takes over Fernvale Community Club when Jalan Kayu PAssionArts Festival 2026 arrives on 29 August for an afternoon of performances, hands-on activities and community participation.

Presented under the theme Our Neighbourhood Gems, the family-friendly festival celebrates the people, stories and artistic talents that give Jalan Kayu and Fernvale their distinctive community spirit.

Enjoy performances by neighbourhood talents

Schools and community groups will take to the stage with live performances throughout the afternoon.

The programme gives emerging and neighbourhood-based performers an opportunity to share their talents while residents enjoy an afternoon of music, movement and community celebration.

Try hands-on arts and crafts

Visitors of different ages can express their creativity through a selection of interactive arts and craft activities.

These accessible activities invite families, friends and neighbours to create together while discovering new ways to transform simple materials into personal works of art.

Leave your mark on a community artwork

Residents can contribute to Giant Delight, a large-scale collaborative installation shaped by the creative contributions of the Jalan Kayu community.

Each participant can add an individual touch to the artwork, helping it develop into a collective expression of the neighbourhood and the people who call it home.

Personalise a Singapore-themed tote bag

Admission costs S$3 per participant and includes a Singapore-themed tote bag that visitors can customise during the festival.

The finished bag offers participants a practical keepsake carrying their own creative interpretation of Singapore and the neighbourhood celebration.

Meet organisations serving the community

Community outreach and engagement booths will also be stationed around the festival, giving residents opportunities to learn about local initiatives and connect with organisations serving the neighbourhood.

Together, the performances, creative activities and community booths turn Fernvale Community Club into an accessible celebration of art made with—and for—the people of Jalan Kayu.
