Description
Award-winning Singaporean filmmaker Anthony Chen is bringing We Are All Strangers (我们不是陌生人) home following its appearances at international film festivals in Berlin, Hong Kong, Italy, Sydney, Vietnam and Shanghai.
Opening islandwide on 20 August 2026, the film concludes Chen’s acclaimed Growing Up Trilogy, following Ilo Ilo and Wet Season. It centres on an ordinary Singaporean household navigating changing relationships, unexpected responsibilities and the realities of contemporary life.
To mark the film’s homecoming, Giraffe Pictures and its partners are organising a month-long celebration featuring retrospective screenings, cast appearances, filmmaker discussions and community activations.
