Make a lantern and join the procession
Visitors can stop by the DIY lantern-making booth to create a festive lantern before joining a procession around the park.
The lantern walk offers families, friends and neighbours an opportunity to celebrate the season together while illuminating Bukit Merah View Square with their handmade creations.
Create art together
Interactive art booths will showcase works by local interest groups while inviting residents to participate in hands-on creative experiences.
Families and groups can contribute to mass art activities such as digital art jamming and canvas painting, turning the celebration into a shared display of neighbourhood creativity.
Enjoy performances, games and festive treats
Community talents, artists, bands and interest groups will enliven the evening with songs, dances, music and cultural performances.
The programme also features tea appreciation, mooncake tasting, drone soccer, lantern riddles, fun games, arts and crafts and goodie bags. Visitors who remain until 8.30pm can also look forward to a mystery gift activity.
Our Take
This neighbourhood celebration offers a particularly varied programme for families. Traditional activities such as lantern-making, mooncake tasting and lantern riddles sit alongside contemporary experiences like digital art jamming and drone soccer.
