19 September 2026: Enjoy a Mid-Autumn picnic under the stars at Bishan–Ang Mo Kio Park with carnival games, art activities and live performances.

Teck Ghee Lantern Night 2026 will transform Ficus Green at Bishan–Ang Mo Kio Park into a lively outdoor Mid-Autumn gathering for families, friends and neighbours.

Held in conjunction with PAssionArts Festival 2026, the celebration combines a community picnic with hands-on art, carnival attractions, festive challenges, a treasure hunt and entertainment beneath the night sky.

Enjoy a Mid-Autumn picnic under the stars

Families can spread out their picnic mats at Ficus Green and enjoy a relaxed evening together within the sprawling grounds of Bishan–Ang Mo Kio Park.

A $15 picnic set includes one picnic mat, one mooncake and an assortment of snacks. Picnic sets are limited to one per household, and visitors are encouraged to bring their own drinks.

Participants who wish to enter the designated picnic area must purchase both an entry ticket and a picnic set.

This year’s theme, My Neighbourhood Gems 2.0, celebrates the character of the Teck Ghee community while promoting inclusivity and sustainability through art and shared experiences.

Visitors of different ages can participate in arts and crafts and other fringe activities designed to encourage creativity and connection among neighbours.

Take on games, challenges and a treasure hunt

The evening’s family-friendly entertainment includes carnival games, a treasure hunt and the playfully named Mooncake Olympics.

Visitors can also enjoy live performances while spending time outdoors with their families and the wider community.

Each $5 entry ticket includes a goodie bag, lucky-draw participation and activity coupons that can be used during the celebration.

Bishan–Ang Mo Kio Park gives Teck Ghee Lantern Night a different atmosphere from celebrations held inside community clubs or neighbourhood squares.

The combination of open green space, a community picnic and Mid-Autumn activities should make Ficus Green especially lively after sunset. Families can settle in for the evening instead of simply moving between activity booths.

EP Tip: Bring insect repellent, drinking water and a portable fan for a more comfortable outdoor picnic. Picnic sets are limited to one per household, so register in advance if you intend to enter the designated picnic area.
