Step onto the grounds of Singapore’s iconic National Stadium for three weekends of family activities, sporting experiences, behind-the-scenes tours, gaming, markets, movies and live entertainment.

The National Stadium Experience 2026 returns to The Kallang from 29 August to 20 September with an expansive programme designed for children, families, sports enthusiasts, gamers and anyone curious to explore the landmark venue.

Each featured weekend offers a different combination of activities. Visitors can introduce their children to cycling and new sports, join a tour of the National Stadium, browse products created by young entrepreneurs, try Muay Thai, test their gaming reflexes or settle down for an outdoor movie.

Recurring attractions include an inflatable playground, open-mic karaoke and the National Stadium’s LED roof display. General activities are free, although selected workshops, tours and specialised programmes require advance registration through The Kallang App or the respective organiser.

Highlights of the National Stadium Experience 2026

Explore the National Stadium behind the scenes: Join a guided venue tour and enter back-of-house areas where major sporting moments, concerts and performances come to life. Free advance registration is required through The Kallang App.

Help children discover new sports: Young visitors can try activities including virtual archery, foam-blaster shooting and Muay Thai in beginner-friendly settings designed to encourage movement and confidence.

Teach a child to cycle: Children aged three and above can develop their balance, confidence and cycling skills during free one-hour workshops on 29 and 30 August. Participants must register beforehand and arrive in sportswear and covered shoes.

Support young entrepreneurs: The Children’s Entrepreneurship Fair allows young creators to showcase and sell their own products while gaining practical experience in communication, confidence and business.

Enter a fitness-gaming challenge: The Overclocked Fitness Gaming Challenge combines physical movement with popular games. Participants will tackle Ring Fit exercises, keep time on Taiko no Tatsujin and test their accuracy on a Valorant aim range.

Browse trading cards and handmade goods: Collecta Fest brings TCG collectors together to browse, trade and discover cards, while the AL!VE Artisan Market by Invade features local makers, handcrafted products and lifestyle finds.

Dance to K-pop favourites: Seoul Searching SG presents K-pop Random Play Dance sessions on 5 and 12 September, with DJ Raw selecting tracks for fans to recognise and perform together.

Watch movies beneath the stadium roof: Cinewav presents outdoor screenings of A Minecraft Movie on 6 September and The Batman on 13 September, giving families and friends a relaxed way to end their weekend at The Kallang.

Three Weekends of Activities at the National Stadium

29 and 30 August: Family Fun Starts Here

The opening weekend focuses on family participation and giving children opportunities to try something new. Highlights include the Children’s Entrepreneurship Fair, Teach a Child to Cycle workshops, National Stadium tours, virtual archery, foam-blaster shooting and Muay Thai activities.

5 and 6 September: Play, Collect and Unwind

The second featured weekend brings together gaming, collecting, shopping and entertainment. Visitors can explore the AL!VE Artisan Market, join the Overclocked Fitness Gaming Challenge, browse the Collecta Fest TCG Card Show, dance during a K-pop Random Play Dance session and watch A Minecraft Movie.

12 and 13 September: Culture, Community and Celebration

The final published programme weekend features the AL!VE Artisan Market, Fight for Hope by the Singapore Muaythai Association, K-pop Random Play Dance, the Galaxy Walkathon and a screening of The Batman.

Our Take on the National Stadium Experience

The greatest strength of the National Stadium Experience is the sheer variety contained within one familiar venue. Parents can introduce their children to sports and cycling, collectors can explore the TCG show, gamers can compete physically and digitally, while other visitors can browse a market or enjoy an evening movie.

Its timing also makes the programme particularly useful for families. The opening weekend provides one final August outing, while the activities on 5, 6, 12 and 13 September fall directly within the school-holiday period.

Visitors should nevertheless plan their preferred activities before arriving. Some attractions can be enjoyed casually, while workshops, tours, Muay Thai programmes and other selected activities have separate registration procedures, capacity limits or participation requirements.
