Voices from across Asia come together at SOTA as SINGSPIRE 2026 celebrates harmony, cultural diversity and the shared power of choral music.

School choirs, established ensembles and guest performers from across Asia will gather in Singapore for SINGSPIRE 2026: The World as One Voice on 29 August.

Held at the SOTA Concert Hall, the international choral event explores music as a common language capable of connecting performers and audiences across countries, communities and cultural traditions.

The 150-minute programme spans folk traditions, cultural songs, sacred works and contemporary choral innovations. Participating groups bring their own musical identities to the stage while contributing to the festival’s larger message of harmony through diversity.

Our Take on SINGSPIRE 2026

SINGSPIRE 2026 offers more than a conventional sequence of choir performances. Its line-up gives audiences a compact introduction to the breadth of Asian choral music, with children’s choirs, women’s ensembles, school groups and established performers represented within the same programme.

The theme The World as One Voice is particularly well suited to choral music. Every singer contributes an individual voice, but the complete work only emerges through listening, cooperation and collective expression.

At S$30 before the booking fee—and with SG Culture Pass credits accepted—the concert is also relatively accessible for audiences who want to explore live choral music without committing to a premium concert price.

Families should note that children below four years old will not be admitted. Every attendee aged four and above requires a valid ticket.
