Description
Little Red Riding Hood steps into the concert hall when the Singapore Symphony Orchestra and Dandi Productions present a musical retelling of the classic tale on 5 and 6 September 2026.
Part of SSO Concerts for Children, the production combines orchestral music and theatre to introduce young audiences to live performance. Nathanaël Iselin conducts the SSO in this playful adaptation inspired by Roald Dahl’s mischievous version of the story.
An orchestra experience for families
Each one-hour performance takes place in a relaxed environment where audience members may enter and leave the hall when needed. This format can make the concert more comfortable for families attending with children who are still getting used to formal performance spaces.
The concert is recommended for children aged five and above. Every attendee requires a ticket, and infants in arms will not be admitted.
Non-flash photography is permitted, but video recording is only allowed during the bows and applause.
