Celebrate under one moon with lantern walks, rooftop installations, stargazing, mooncake tasting, hands-on crafts and cultural performances across an activity-filled weekend.

Mid-Autumn Family FUN 2026 brings 25 family-friendly activities to the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre and Singapore Conference Hall on 19 and 20 September.

Jointly organised by the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre and Singapore Chinese Orchestra, the annual festival combines familiar Mid-Autumn traditions with interactive experiences designed for contemporary audiences.

Activities take place from 1pm to 9pm on both days and include free and ticketed programmes conducted in English and Mandarin. Eligible Singapore citizens can use SG Culture Pass credits for selected ticketed activities.

The programme extends beyond stage performances. Families can taste mooncakes, join lantern walks, observe the night sky, create festive crafts and learn about the customs associated with the annual celebration.

Join an interactive lantern walk: Explore Mid-Autumn traditions through a collective evening experience that brings visitors through the festival carrying lanterns.

Look towards the moon: Rooftop moongazing and stargazing activities invite families to observe the night sky while learning more about the moon and its relationship with the festival.

Taste traditional mooncakes: Sample a selection of festive flavours during the Mid-Autumn Mooncake Fiesta and discover how different interpretations of the familiar treat reflect evolving tastes.

Create festive crafts: Complimentary craft stations and bookable workshops give children and adults opportunities to make Mid-Autumn keepsakes and explore traditional art forms.

Enjoy performances and riddles: The programme includes storytelling, Chinese orchestra performances, traditional dance, crosstalk, lantern riddles and talks about Mid-Autumn customs.

Dress in traditional attire: The Hanfu Wardrobe Corner allows visitors to try on traditional Chinese clothing and take complimentary photographs at a dedicated photo booth.

Explore Bit Bit Forest: Visit an illuminated rooftop installation featuring imaginative inflatables by Hong Kong-based artist Kau Pui Lung. The installation remains at SCCC beyond the main festival weekend.

A Festival Spread Across Two Venues

Mid-Autumn Family FUN unfolds across multiple spaces within the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre and neighbouring Singapore Conference Hall.

Visitors may move between rooftop installations, performance spaces, craft areas and activity rooms throughout the afternoon and evening. This gives families the flexibility to combine complimentary drop-in activities with selected ticketed programmes.
