Meet giant pandas Kai Kai and Jia Jia while exploring an interactive exhibition devoted to panda behaviour, conservation and their natural habitat.
Panda Planet Immersive Experience makes its first stop outside China at River Wonders from 4 to 14 September 2026.
Presented by iPanda as part of the China-Singapore Panda Relations initiative with Mandai Wildlife Group, the exhibition introduces visitors to the world of giant pandas through three themed zones.
Families can complete science-trivia challenges, enter an interactive virtual bamboo forest and learn about the evolution, behaviour and conservation of giant pandas.
The exhibition coincides with public birthday celebrations for Jia Jia and Kai Kai on 5 and 13 September respectively. Both occasions fall within the September school holidays.

Celebrate Kai Kai and Jia Jia’s Birthdays
Jia Jia turns 18 on 3 September 2026, while Kai Kai celebrates his 19th birthday on 14 September.
Visitors can join their public birthday celebrations at Pavilion Capital Giant Panda Forest on 5 September for Jia Jia and 13 September for Kai Kai.
Both sessions begin at 12pm. The pandas will receive ice cakes and treat-filled enrichment specially prepared by their keepers.
Beyond giving visitors an endearing birthday moment, the enrichment encourages the pandas’ natural foraging behaviour while keeping them mentally and physically engaged.

Panda Planet Immersive Experience combines an adorable family attraction with accessible conservation education.
The science activities and mixed-reality experience help children understand that giant pandas are more than lovable cultural icons. They are a vulnerable species whose recovery depends on sustained conservation work.
Its entire run overlaps with the September school holidays, while the two birthday celebrations give families a choice of special sessions on the opening and closing weekends.
Families do not need to rush through every exhibition zone. Allow time to explore the wider River Wonders park and select either birthday celebration if watching the pandas receive their enrichment is a priority.
