Follow the Singapore River across three distinctive festival zones as light installations, projection shows, performances, markets and family experiences animate the waterfront.

Singapore River Festival 2026 returns from 11 to 20 September 2026 for its milestone 10th edition, bringing ten days of creative and community experiences to Boat Quay, Clarke Quay and Robertson Quay.

Presented under the theme The Quay Collective, the festival gives each waterfront precinct its own identity. Visitors can encounter entertainment and projections at Boat Quay, creativity and interactive installations at Clarke Quay, and lifestyle and wellness experiences at Robertson Quay.

The festival’s opening weekend from 11 to 13 September falls within the September school holidays, making its free public performances and installations particularly suitable for families. Selected tours, games and special experiences are separately ticketed.

Highlights of Singapore River Festival 2026

Step through time at Boat Quay: The River Echo Chambers turns three heritage shophouse façades along Kinrara Lane into portals exploring the Singapore River’s past, present and imagined future. Visitors can access its original soundtrack through Cinewav using their own earphones.

Follow a samba parade along the river: The River Song Parade features SMU Samba Masala performing aboard a boat before continuing the celebration on land with energetic percussion, movement and choreography.

Control the lights at Clarke Quay: At The River Rhapsody, visitors can use their gestures and movements to influence the colours and sounds illuminating Read Bridge. A projected virtual DJ adds another interactive dimension to the experience.

Catch live performances: Music, community singalongs, street dance, flash mobs and acrobatic acts will appear throughout the festival, with different programmes unfolding across the three quays.

Enjoy a riverside movie: Riverside Cinema presents an outdoor screening of How to Train Your Dragon beside Robertson Quay on 19 September. Visitors can bring a picnic mat and use the Cinewav platform for personal audio.

Browse a waterfront market: The Riverview Social Market at Four Points by Sheraton Singapore, Riverview brings together local makers, handcrafted products, fragrances, food and complimentary community activities.
